Often it is necessary to run the engine whilst the tyrewarmers are mounted. The central rear muffler on most of the Ducati bikes is very close to the tyre and heats up very quickly to high temperatures, which will destroy (smelt!) the standard cover materials of the rear tyrewarmer.
The special high heat resistance NOMEX cover material of the "Nomex-Edition" helps to avoid such damage!We recommend especially for DUCATi riders that Nomex-Edition in the fully NOMEX made edition.
Because the "Nomex"-Edition tyrewarmers are very soft with a high flexibility it can be recommended for all bikes.
